TONIGHT'S MUST-SEE

"Celebrity Cooking Showdown," 7 p.m., NBC. For the past three nights, NBC has had competitions pairing up celebrities with famous chefs. Here's the three-way finale. Viewers will even do part of the judging, which is odd since they can't taste the food. An on-site panel will do the actual tasting. Viewers will vote on other factors and the winner will be announced in a results show tomorrow.

OF LOCAL NOTE

"The 43rd Annual Merrie Monarch Festival," 6 p.m., KITV. Competitors tonight vie for the title of Miss Aloha Hula. Broadcast live from Hilo.

OF NOTE

"Survivor," 7 p.m., CBS. One of the contestants is rushed from the island for medical reasons. No one is sure whether that leaves the person out of the competition.

"My Name is Earl," 8 p.m., NBC. Earl, it seems, has never found a gracious way to break up with someone. This rerun reflects one of his worst break-up techniques — faking his own death. When he tries to make amends the problem only grows.

"The Office," 8:30 p.m., NBC. In this rerun, Dwight is a little too into karate. When he accidentally knocks Michael down, Jim can't resist setting up a rematch.

"ER," 9 p.m., NBC. This rerun has Clemente secretly giving special care to a celebrity monkey. Abby and Neela help. Meanwhile, Sam is unhappy with her management responsibilities.

"Without a Trace," 9 p.m., CBS. A young man from a rich family had been helping at a home for indigent women; now he's missing and kidnapping is suspected.
