Legacy Interactive has a solid track record of turning hit shows such as "Law & Order" and "E.R." into decent PC games aimed at the casual gamer.

That streak ends with "The Apprentice" (rated E, for everyone), a dated 2-D game that wouldn't be worth your time if it were free. "The Apprentice" makes "South Park" animation look cutting-edge.

Whether the 2-D route was taken to save money or to try making Donald Trump's hair look better, I don't know, but the result is 18 corporate-sponsored arcade and puzzle mini-games that require no business skills or creativity whatsoever — unless Trump is looking for entrepreneurs who can unscramble tiles to reveal a soda advertisement.

And according to the game's box, he just might be. Anyone who beats this game is guaranteed an interview for a spot on the "Apprentice" TV show.

Versions of Trump, advisers George Ross and Carolyn Kepcher, and nine contestants from the first three seasons of the show, including Omarosa Manigault-Stallworth, Kwame Jackson, Kendra Todd, Danny Kastner and Kelly Perdew, are included in this virtual competition.

To win, your contestant needs to win all the arcade challenges, but you'll grow tired of this game long before Trump fires you. Forget replay value — watching reruns of the show is more fun.
