Presented by Hawaiian Express, the concert features Florida-based punk band Against Me!, Southeast post-hardcore ensemble Smoke or Fire and Minneapolis rock quartet The Soviettes. The Hawaiian Humane Society's annual K-9 Game Day is a family- and pet-friendly event that features a costume contest (with prizes for scariest, funniest and best owner-and-pet duo costumes; cats can enter, too); a pumpkin patch where youngsters can decorate pumpkins; a Pooch Parlor, where massage, grooming and nail painting will be available; oh, and canine games, too. Also, for a $20 donation to the humane society, you can pose with your pet and Santa for holiday photos taken by a professional. Looking to adopt a dog? There'll be a wide selection to choose from. Grammy Award-winning worldbeat ensemble Ozomatli is dancing through three islands for the Hawaiian Halloween Tour. The group's multicultural blend of Latin dance, hip-hop and funky jazz gets those toes tapping and hips swinging. Swampa ZZ opens for both O'ahu shows. Tickets are $20.

K-pop fans won't want to miss the K-Drama Music Festival, featuring the sentimental ballads of Kim Bum-Soo. Kim was boosted to the limelight through a TV drama that played his song "Promise." His subsequent hits include "Maybe," "I Want to See You" and "Sun Setting in the Heart." Also performing will be Lee Hyun Seob, Lee Yae Rin and Park Tae Won. Tickets are $35, $50 and $75 for the early show, and $50, $75 and $100 for the evening performance.

Now that the battle of the mold is over, Kennedy Theatre opens its 2005-06 season with the American premiere of "Battle of Will." Written by French playwright Laurent Gaude and translated by David Greig, this drama focuses on human relationships during a power struggle between a criminal Boss and Killer (Alex Hubbard, LEFT), whose family was murdered by Boss. Happy birthday, Honolulu! The Honolulu Centennial Gala Celebration honors 100 influential citizens from the past 10 decades as part of the City and County of Honolulu's birthday bash.
