TONIGHT'S MUST-SEE

"Faith Hill: Fireflies," 8 p.m., NBC. Faith Hill has a talent that crosses categories. She is a small-town, down-home person who has a big-time voice and an upscale look. This special catches her in two settings. One is an intimate concert in Nashville, Tenn. The other is amid the gold-colored glitter of the Pantages Theatre in Los Angeles.

"In Search of Myths and Heroes" conclusion, 9 p.m., PBS. James Hilton's 1933 novel, "Lost Horizon," had Westerners discovering a hidden, mountain world called Shangri-La. It led to movies and daydreams and expeditions. The fictional story, host Michael Wood says, reflects tales that go back to the 10th century. Europeans heard them in the 16th century and searched for paradise. Now Wood searches anew, catching grand landscapes along the way. He travels through India and Nepal, ending up at a sacred Tibetan city rarely seen by the outside world. There's no Shangri-La, but there is a chance to see some glorious places in the first hour. The second retraces the route of "Jason and the Golden Fleece."

"Anger Management" (2003), 7 p.m., Fox. An ordinary chap (Adam Sandler) has a very bad time on an airplane; soon, he's assigned a live-in anger specialist (Jack Nicholson).

"E-Ring," 7 p.m., NBC. McNulty (Dennis Hopper) learns that a Navy SEAL, long believed dead, may be alive. He and J.T. (Benjamin Bratt) try an unofficial rescue mission.

"Kenny Chesney: Somewhere in the Sun," 7 p.m., ABC. This special follows Chesney on tour and on his Caribbean island. It includes a song with Gretchen Wilson.

"Lost," 8 p.m., ABC. Last week's episode offered vivid details about the people from the tail section of the plane, focusing on the fiery Ana-Lucia Cortez (Michelle Rodriguez). She killed a man suspected of being an infiltrator from "the others," and she also accidentally shot Shannon. That's where the story begins tonight. The front-section and tail-section people finally meet — with Ana-Lucia facing rage over her actions.
