Police are looking for two motorcycles designed for drag racing that were stolen from a travel trailer.
Between 2 a.m. and 4 a.m. Thursday, a large, white trailer was taken from Ho'olehua Street in Pearl City.
At about 6 a.m. that day, the trailer was seen parked on Kaumoli Street in Manana, police said. A small, white pickup truck was towing the trailer, witnesses told police.
A man, described as being around 40 years old, 5 feet 9 and 200 pounds with light-colored hair and a mustache, got out of the truck and headed toward Sam's Club, police said. At about 8:30 a.m., he came out of the store and drove off with the trailer, police said.
At 8 p.m., the white trailer was recovered at Kumoana Street in Manana, but the motorcycles were missing. Witnesses saw a white van topped with racks, a red Isuzu Rodeo and a large, black pickup truck unloading items near the area where the trailer was found, police said.
