TONIGHT'S MUST-SEE
"Imagining America: Icons of 20th Century American Art," 9 p.m., PBS. After a few centuries copying the European masters, American artists found their own style. They drew from nature. Thomas Cole had captured the frontier. Now Georgia O'Keeffe ranged from Midwestern flowers to the Southwestern desert. They also captured the eccentricities of modern life. The second half of this well-made film ranges from Jackson Pollock's abstracts to the pop-culture views of Andy Warhol and David Wojnarowicz. The film includes vintage clips of the artists.
"Lost," 8 and 9 p.m., ABC. Two reruns go back-to-back. The two surviving groups collide. There's also an explanation of Kate's dark past.
OF NOTE
"Clifford's Puppy Days," 5:30 p.m., PBS. Here are two tales set in the Jewish home of the neighbor kittens. Both offer a rare chance to see Hanukkah in a TV cartoon.
"E-Ring," 7 p.m., NBC. JT must confront Green Berets who may be taking an unauthorized trip into Iran.
"Law & Order: Criminal Intent," 8 p.m., NBC. In a rerun, Logan (Chris Noth) faces a corrupt ex-cop (David Keith).
"Criminal Minds," 8 p.m., CBS. The team pursues a murderer and rapist.
"Sit Down Comedy," 8 p.m., TV Land. Bob Newhart swaps memories with David Steinberg.
"CSI: NY," 9 p.m., CBS. One person is found dead on a carousel; a second is killed at an animal refuge.
"Law & Order," 9 p.m., NBC. In yesterday's "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" rerun, Benson confronted two women. They're back.
