LAS VEGAS — Ben Jacobson scored 19 points to lead Northern Iowa past Division II Hawai'i Pacific, 81-47, yesterday in the third round of the Las Vegas Holiday Classic at the Valley High School gym.

Grant Stout and Erick Crawford each had 11 points for the Panthers (9-1), who outscored Hawai'i Pacific 45-18 in the second half.

Adam Snyder led the Sea Warriors (1-8) with nine points. Joseph Ison and Donnell Dobbins each had seven points.

Today, the Sea Warriors face Florida A&M University, which lost to Tennessee Tech, 66-65, earlier in the day. Tip-off is 8:30 a.m. Hawai'i time.
