It's not like Carissa Moore needs the press. But she definitely deserves it. The 12-year-old surfing phenom from Wai'alae is on the cover of September's SG magazine. In June, the eighth-grader from Punahou School, considered one of the nation's top female amateurs, won three divisions in the National Scholastic Surfing Association National Championship for the second consecutive year. That makes her the only female in NSSA history to win three titles in one year.

'VIRGIN' CASHING IN
Steve Carell's "The 40-Year-Old Virgin" remained the No. 1 movie over the weekend with $16.4 million, according to studio estimates Sunday. Terry Gilliam's "The Brothers Grimm," starring Matt Damon and Heath Ledger as the 19th century fairy-tale siblings, debuted in second place with $15.1 million. "The Cave," an underground monster movie, opened weakly at No. 6 with $6.2 million. The weekend's other new wide release — the romance "Undiscovered," featuring Ashlee Simpson — flopped with just $690,000.
