The National Weather Service predicts high surf on Oahu�s North Shore for late Sunday afternoon, with waves reaching as much as 30 feet by evening.

�It looks like it�s going to be coming up pretty rapidly on O�ahu by mid-day, and it will be reaching warning levels of 25-feet by late afternoon and evening,� said forecaster Ian Morrison. �This looks like a significant swell.�
Morrison said that swell should peak by Sunday night and Monday, and continue through Monday night, gradually decreasing through Tuesday and Tuesday night. A lesser swell will come in on Wednesday night and remain into Thursday.
On O�ahu�s west-facing shore, waves should reach the 12-foot level through Sunday morning, with waves climbing to the 18-foot advisory level by afternoon.
