ARTafterDark returns to the Honolulu Academy of Arts Friday for its first art party of 2010.

The theme for this month�s event is �Mad for Modern� and will include docent led zip tours of the Academy�s spring show �From Whistler to Warhol: Modernism on Paper� at 6:30 and 7 p.m.; a live video installation from Joseph Paahana of the Drop Shadows; free figure sketches by artist Lauren Roth, photographic portraits by Academy Orvis Artist-in-Residence Elizabeth Curtis, as well as food, music and drink.
ArtafterDark runs from 6 to 9 p.m. Admission is free for Academy members and $10 for everyone else. For more information, visit www.artafterdark.org.
