NFL: Redskins work out ’unsettling’ play caller switch

ASHBURN, Va. — Jason Campbell knows there could be some moments of chaos with Sherm Lewis calling the plays.
The quarterback says he’ll probably have a couple of plays on standby in his mind when the Washington Redskins host the Philadelphia Eagles on Monday night.
The Redskins spent Wednesday trying to get a feel for Lewis, who is taking over the play-calling duties after they were stripped from coach Jim Zorn by the team’s front office. Lewis has been with the team as a consultant for only two weeks.
Backup quarterback Todd Collins called the switch “unsettling.” Zorn hasn’t found it easy to accept.
Said Zorn: “I’m not naive about what’s going on, and yet I have to just hold back on any feelings and make the decisions.”
