Teen robbed of wallet while boarding city bus
Two teenage boys took another teen's wallet and struck him from behind as he tried to board a bus on Kamehameha Highway and Waimano Home Road at 11:45 p.m Saturday, police said.
The 16-year-old teenager told police he didn't know the other teens who asked him first for $1 for the bus. The teen confronted the teens and demanded his wallet back. He was struck for a second time before a police officer on patrol heard about the incident and arrested the two teens for investigation of robbery in the second degree. The teens were released pending further investigation, police said.
