Nearly 500 dog lovers, many towed by their best friends, took part in today’s Hawaiian Humane Society Canine Game Day at Thomas Square Park.

The event included a canine push-up contest, musical hula hoops, and a Pooch Parlor for high-maintenance dogs in need of pampering.
It also featured a parade of dogs up for adoption. By the end of the day, three adoptable canines had found new homes.
