NFL: No Favre meeting? Childress shows up at Vikings HQ
Associated Press
EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. — Minnesota Vikings coach Brad Childress has been spotted at team headquarters despite reports that he would be out of town meeting with retired quarterback Brett Favre.
Twin Cities television station KMSP broadcast video of Childress arriving at Vikings headquarters in suburban Minneapolis early Thursday, and the coach was still at Winter Park shortly before noon local time.
The Star Tribune cited unidentified people with knowledge of the situation in reporting Childress was expected to travel south to meet with Favre on Wednesday night and have further discussions Thursday. The 18-year veteran lives in Mississippi.
The Vikings aren't commenting.
