A 43-year-old Mililani man died in an apparent drowning yesterday morning in a Mililani swimming pool, police said.

The Honolulu Medical Examiner's Office identified the man as Lonnie Shaw. An autopsy is pending.

The man was found unresponsive in a swimming pool at 7:30 a.m. yesterday. Efforts to revive him were unsuccessful, police said.

The man was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Police do not suspect foul play.
