'Aloha Shorts' — Hawaii vs. Mainland tapes Sunday

Advertiser staff

Bamboo Ridge authors, actors and musicians will get together tomorrow for an 'Aloha Shorts' radio show taping with live readings and music about whether to stay in Hawaii or go to the Mainland.

As summer vacation, graduations and the high cost of living making some Hawaii residents wonder where to live, the Bamboo Ridge writers are focusing on the advantages of living in Hawaii over the Mainand, or vice versa.
The taping starts at 7 p.m. at Hawaii Public Radio’s Atherton Studio, with 'house band' Hemajang offering preshow entertainment at 6:45 p.m.
Admission is free and reservations are highly recommended. For more information, call 955-8821 or visit hawaiipublicradio.org.
