Gertrude Boerner, 98, of Hana, Maui, formerly of Honolulu, died July 20, 2009. Born in Seeburg, Germany. Costume designer and maker for theater groups, among them, Punahou productions, Hawaii Theatre for Youth and Hawaii Community Theatre.
