It’s time to hitch up the beagles, bulldogs and every other four-legged critter for a walk through the Honolulu Arts District as part of Pets on Parade.

The fundraiser for the Hepatitis Support Network of Honolulu at 4 p.m. today is an excellent opportunity for furry friends to bond with their humans in a 10-block parade past art galleries and watering holes downtown. All dogs must have their humans on a leash, and dogs must wear a collar with current ID. Cats are welcome, though they must be in a carrier or a cage. Other animals also are invited.
