Maui's Shane Victorino of the Philadelphia Phillies trailed Pablo Sandoval of the San Francisco Giants by two percentage points yesterday with one day to go in voting for the final spot on the NL All-Star team, according to MLB.com.

Detroit Tigers third baseman Brandon Inge has taken the AL lead. Sandoval, a corner infielder, stayed ahead of Victorino, an outfielder from St. Anthony High, in the NL as fans continue to vote in record numbers to complete rosters for the All-Star Game on Tuesday in St. Louis.

Voting ends at 10 a.m. Hawai'i time today.
