Honolulu Board of Water Supply crews restored the water to 29 Aiea residents and the public library at 99-143 Moanalua Road after a water main broke early this morning.

The break in an 8-inch main was reported about 2:30 this morning. Water was restored at 6:30 p.m. tonight to the 29 homes and the Aiea Public Library that were without water.
A water wagon was set up to help residents cope without water.
BWS crews attempted to restore water service at 4 p.m. today, but a second leak was detected in the line.
