Public tennis courts on Maui to close for repairs

WAILUKU, Maui, Hawaii— The County of Maui Department of Parks and Recreation is reminding the public that three of the tennis courts at Wells Park will close today through July 2 for renovation.

Courts 1, 2 and 3 will remain open while courts 4, 5 and 6 are closed for reconstruction of court surfaces and replacement of lights.

Site Engineering, Inc. will perform the court reconstruction at a cost of $268,338; Lite Electric, Inc. will be replacing the lights at a cost of $230,010.
