Tantalizing as it seems, the Internet reports of a budding romance between the former University of Hawaii star and Washington Redskins third-string quarterback the singer who recently broke up with Dallas QB Tony Romo has no merit, according to Brennan.
Brennan did enjoy the attention the story was getting and was tempted to milk it for all it was worth.
“My life coach, Chris Cooley, said that I should neither confirm nor deny it,” Brennan said. “But me being an honest guy, I have no idea what that’s about.”
Brennan, a star during last season's exhibition season, completed just 4 of 12 passes with an interception against Baltimore Thusday. In his debut last preseason, Brennan completed 9 of 10 for two touchdowns.
In past seasons, tabloids poked fun of Simpson, placing some blame on her for Romo's woes.
