"A Century of Song" was the theme this morning as Sacred Hearts Academy celebrated two auspicious events — May Day and the school's centennial.

The program featured narration, hula and a royal court depicting the decades beginning in 1909 with the founding of Sacred Hearts Academy and noting key historical events since then.

Student performances included song and hula, with each grade levels representing a different decade.
