Woman shot by police is arrested

A 45-year-old homeless woman who was shot by police after she allegedly lunged at officers April 3 was arrested shortly after being released from the hospital today.
The woman was booked on four counts of first-degree terroristic threatening and was being held in the police cellblock last night pending charges.
On April 3, police said, the woman was screaming and acting erratically at the intersection of South King Street and Kalakaua Avenue. When officers arrived shortly before 2 a.m., police said the woman lunged at them with a 14-inch metal rod and an 18-inch metal skewer.
One officer fired two shots at her while another officer used a Taser device. The woman was taken to The Queen's Medical Center, where she was confined until today.
