Qualified homeowners have until tomorrow to file applications for real property tax credits covering the 2009-2010 tax year, the Honolulu Department of Budget and Fiscal Services said.

Tax relief employees will be available in the Honolulu Hale courtyard on Tuesday from 7:45 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. to assist taxpayers with applications.

Forms for the Real Property Tax Credit Program are available at:

# Tax Relief Section, 715 S. King St., Room 505

# Online at www.honolulu.gov/budget/treasury_division.htm

Applicants may be eligible for the tax credit provided the following requirements are met:

# They have a homeowner exemption on the property at the time of application and during the tax year 2009-2010;

# The combined income of all title holders of the property for the 2007 calendar year does not exceed $50,000;

# None of the titleholders of the property owns any other real property anywhere.
