Advertiser Staff

Gov. Linda Lingle has ordered state flags at all state and county buildings to be flown at half-staff tomorrow from sunrise until sunset in honor of former Hawai'i state Sen. and state Rep. George H. Toyofuku. A memorial service will be held that day in Lihu'e, Kaua'i

Toyofuku, who passed away Sept. 20, served in the state House of Representatives from 1965 to 1968 and the state Senate from 1971 to 1982. He also served on the County of Kaua'i Board of Supervisors from 1959 to 1964.
