Agriculture Department wins technology Award

The Hawai'i Department of Agriculture has won an award for a radio-frequency identification (RFID) project at a RFID industry event that highlights advanced track and trace solutions.
The department's RFID Food Traceability System for food safety won the top award in the Protecting the Environment category.
The awards were announced by TechInsights and RFID Revolution during the second annual RFID Excellence in Business Awards program in Las Vegas.
