HAWAII INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL

MUSIC OF THE PEOPLE

Island reggae lovers, hear this: The Hawaii International Film Festival is showing "Exodus," the story of the making of Bob Marley's classic 1977 album, named Album of the Century by no less than Time magazine. Produced by the BBC and Island Records' Chris Blackwell, the doc also shines a light on global events of 1977, via Marley's songs and archive footage. See it at 8:30 tonight or 9:30 p.m. Saturday at the Regal Dole Cannery theaters; $9 to $10; www.hiff.org.
