The National Weather Service has canceled a wind advisory issued for Kaua'i.

Strong, gusty northeast winds have decreased below advisory levels and will continue to slowly decrease overnight, the weather service office in Honolulu said in an alert issued at 3:48 p.m.

Forecasts still call for windy conditions this afternoon on Kaua'i.
