Surf of 4-7 feet expected on south shores today

A moderate southeast swell will continue through Friday then slowly lower over the weekend, the National Weather Service said.

Surf along south-facing shores will be 4 to 7 feet through today, forecasters said.

Elsewhere today look for surf of 2 to 4 feet along north-facing shores; 1 to 3 feet along west-facing shores and 3 to 5 feet along east-facing shores.

A small south swell will arrive Friday then also lower over the weekend. A small south-southwest swell is expected to arrive late this coming Wednesday.
