Firefighters assist injured man at Koko Crater gardens

Honolulu firefighters today attended to a man who fell and broke his right arm while taking photos of flowers at Koko Crater Botanical Gardens.
HFD spokesman Capt. Earle Kealoha said firefighters were able to use a sports utility vehicle to reach the man, who was about a quarter-mile in from the parking lot. The man fell from a small ladder while taking photos and also injured his right thigh.
Firefighters responded at 4 p.m.
