The Buddhist Peace Fellowship-O'ahu presents the Venerable Karma Lekshe Tsomo giving a free talk on "Bridging Worlds: The Middle Way of Global Citizenship" at 6:30 p.m. May 30 at the Honolulu Jodo Mission.

She is an American nun in the Tibetan Buddhist tradition and a former Hawai'i resident. Socially engaged Buddhism — the practice of integrating Buddhist principles and values with participation within a democratic society — will be the focus of her talk.
