MORE MELE JULY 17
Falsetto singer Darren Benitez and the contemporary-Hawaiian trio Maunalua will perform at the July 17 Moonlight Mele concert at the Bishop Museum.
It's the second of the series; John Cruz and The Girlas launch the annual family-friendly event June 19.
Gates open at 6 p.m. (5:30 p.m. for museum members); the concert begins at 7 p.m. Advance tickets are $15 general, $10 museum members, military and Bank of Hawaii customers and employees; free for kids 4 and younger. On the day of the concert or at the door, it's $20 general.

BOZ SCAGGS ON MAUI
Pops veteran Boz Scaggs ("Lowdown," "Lido Shuffle," "Harbor Lights," "We're All Alone") heads for Maui after his Hawaii Romance Festival-ending gig May 11.
He will be accompanied by the Matt Catingub Orchestra of Hawai'i in "An Evening With Boz Scaggs," 7:30 p.m. May 12 at the Maui Arts & Cultural Center's Castle Theater.
