Honolulu's Nani Vercruyssen won the junior women's trampoline title at the 2008 Pacific Rim Gymnastics Championships held at the McEnery Convention Center in San Jose, Calif.

Vercruyssen posted a score of 35.80, followed by Canada's Samantha Sendel in second and Russia's Nadezhda Glebova in third. Dakota Earnest of Plains, Texas, posted a score of 33.00 to finish sixth.

"I'm really happy with how I did today," Vercruyssen said in an email release from USA gymnastics. "This helps me prepare me for my next competitions, and I hope I do well at those, too."
