The third annual Aloha International Piano Festival and Piano Competition, hosted by concert pianist and Kailua native Lisa Nakamichi, will get under way Sunday.

The weeklong event will feature musical performances by Nakamichi and fellow world-class concert pianists, workshops for musicians of all ages, an international piano competition and will conclude with a Father's Day finale. Nakamichi's talent will be showcased in "From Mozart to Beethoven: An Evening of Piano Concerti," 7:30 p.m. June 11 at the Hawaii Convention Center's Liliu Theatre.
