The opening of "Waikiki Nei," a multimedia theatrical production scheduled to debut July 8, has been postponed.

The opening show has been rescheduled for July 10 because of a recent flood that resulted in a loss of rehearsal time for the cast and crew.

Patrons with reservations to see "Waikiki Nei" today or tomorrow can reschedule their reservations for any other night in July, excluding Mondays when the show is dark.

"Waikiki Nei" tells the evolution of Hawai'i and Waikiki from the time of the Hawaiian monarchy through the present.

The ongoing show will be held in the Royal Hawaiian Center's fourth-floor showroom.
