The National Weather Service canceled its high-surf advisory for north-facing shores at 3:15 a.m. today.
North Shore surf today will be in the range of 9 feet to 13 feet during the morning hours but will drop off in the afternoon, NWS forecaster Eric Lau said.
Surf, however, is expected to rise again to advisory levels tomorrow night, Lau said.
