Thai princess to dedicate reconstructed pavilion

Advertiser Staff

A princess visiting from Thailand will dedicate a recently reconstructed traditional Thai pavilion at the East-West Center on Saturday.

Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn will dedicate the pavilion at 10:30 a.m. in a free public ceremony.

The pavilion, or sala, is adjacent to the Imin Center. It was installed in 1967 and recently refurbished.

The ceremony will also include hula performances and traditional Thai dances.
