5.0 earthquake recorded off the shores of Fiji

A moderate earthquake swept across the ocean floor near the island nation of Fiji about 12:32 a.m. today Hawai'i time.
The temblor was assigned a preliminary magnitude of 5.0, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
The quake was centered about 350 miles west-southwest of Nuku'alofa Fiji.
There were no immediate reports of injury or damage.
