LIHU'E – In observance of Statehood Day, County of Kaua'i offices will be closed Friday, along with all refuse transfer stations and the Kaua'i Resource Center.

All bottle redemption centers normally open on Fridays, the Kekaha Landfill, as well as Puhi Metals Recycling Center will remain open on Statehood Day.

Residential refuse pick-up will also continue as scheduled. The Kaua'i Bus will be operating on a modified schedule on Statehood Day as well as on all other county holidays, with the exception of Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's Day.
