There will be single lane closures on Kamehameha Highway in the eastbound direction from Makalapa Road to Valkenburgh Street today through Friday for lane striping and lane marker installations, the state Department of Transportation said.

Crews will close the lane from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. daily.

The transportation department advises motorists to use caution while driving near the work area and to allow for longer travel time.
