Preps: Big Island charter school wins first match
Spencer Kapuni had 14 kills and 11 digs to lead the Ke Ana La'ahana Public Charter School boys volleyball team to a 25-27, 25-17, 25-15, 25-14 win over host Kea'au last night in a Big Island Interscholastic Federation match.
Ke Ana La'ahana, a Hawaiian-culture based school located in Keaukaha, is in its first year of volleyball play. The school has about 70 students in grades 7 to 12.
