Honolulu-based real estate investment company Persis Corp. said it sold a commercial building in Illinois yesterday for $13.1 million, the latest of several Mainland property transactions for the firm worth $102 million this year.

Persis owns and manages more than 2 million square feet of distribution, office and retail facilities throughout the United States.

So far this year, Persis reported selling $71.6 million of assets, represented by yesterday's sale of a Newell Rubbermaid Building in Bolingbrook, Ill., a Motorola distribution facility in Fort Worth, Texas, a United Parcel Service distribution warehouse in Elizabethtown, Ky., and an Anheuser-Busch distribution center in Devens, Mass.

Persis acquisitions this year totaling $30.8 million were two Kohl's department stores in Brandon and Sanford, Fla., and a Wal-Mart Supercenter in Monona, Wis.
