Recycling to benefit school

Moanalua High School will collect recyclable items June 2 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. to raise money for the school's athletic program.

Recyclable items may be taken to the school's student parking lot (near the fire station). Recyclables include newspapers, beverage containers, scrap metal, metal appliances, car batteries, green waste, cell phones, printer cartridges, cardboard and reusable household items. Curbside pick-up service for certain items is also available. No computers or televisions will be collected.
