KOLOA
Parent Project offers classes

Advertiser Staff

The Parent Project will launch a 10-week series of classes on parenting, from 6 to 9 p.m. on Wednesdays starting March 14 at Koloa Elementary School.

The program seeks to provide parents with skills to raise kids in today's world.

There will be concurrent classes for teens and pre-teens.

The program costs $30 per family; scholarships are available. For information, call county anti-drug coordinator Theresa Koki at 241-6312.

The program is sponsored by Koki's office, the state Department of Education, drug prevention and education teams, the Kaua'i Police Department, and the U.S. Department of Justice.
