CARS, CARS AND MORE CARS

The First Hawaiian International Auto Show revs up with 2007 models, a collection of fuel-efficient vehicles, exotic gleaming machines, a Scion showcase, Volkswagen Club display and Mustang display.

Hours are noon-10:30 p.m. March 22-23, 10 a.m.-10:30 p.m. March 24 and 10 a.m.-7 p.m. March 25 at the Hawai'i Convention Center.

Admission is $7 general; $5 for those 62 and older, military and students; $4 kids 7-12; free for keiki 6 and younger. March 25 is Kids Day (free for those 12 and younger); March 22 is College 2-Fer Day, March 24 is Military 2-Fer Day.

'SWEET CHARITY' ON STAGE

The Diamond Head Theatre production of "Sweet Charity" opens at 8 p.m. March 23. Kristin Ing stars as Charity Hope Valentine, the dance hostess who's looking for true love. The musical in known for hit songs such as "If My Friends Could See Me Now" and "Big Spender."

Showtimes are at 8 p.m. Thursdays-Saturdays and 4 p.m. Sundays, through April 8, with Saturday matinees at 3 p.m. March 31 and April 7. Tickets are $12-$42 general, with discounts for students, those 62 and older and military. 733-0274, www.diamondheadtheatre.com.
