With these tips in mind, you are so ready to tackle the 60th annual Friends of the Library of Hawai'i Book Sale, which launches today at McKinley High School's sweltering cafeteria (that's why you should wear light clothing).
The sale offers more than 100,000 books on just about every topic imaginable there are cookbooks, kids' books, fine-arts tomes, reference material, romance novels, mysteries and thrillers, travel books and science fiction. Music, too, and magazines.
The overloaded tables in the cafeteria are restocked every few hours, so there's always new stuff well, new old stuff to check out. That's why you should go often.
