Former University of Hawai'i defensive end Ikaika Alama-Francis, the Detroit Lions' second-round draft pick, has signed a four-year contract, according to the Detroit News.

The 6-foot-5, 280-pound Alama-Francis was one of three Lions to reach agreement before yesterday's official reporting deadline for rookies and veterans.

Quarterback Drew Stanton of Michigan State, another second-round pick, also signed a four-year contract. Safety Gerald Alexander of Boise State had agreed to terms on a four-year deal and was on the way to Detroit, Lions chief operating officer Tom Lewand said in the News article. Alexander was expected to sign in time to practice this morning, Lewand said.

Financial terms of the contracts were not announced.

The Lions are still missing one draftee — Calvin Johnson, the 6-foot-5 receiver chosen second overall in April.
