The Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard will receive the Research Institute for Hawaii.USA's second annual Liberty Award tomorrow at the Pacific Aviation Museum.
The nonprofit Research Institute for Hawaii.USA researches and publishes findings on literary legal precedents in U.S./Hawai'i constitutional history.
The Liberty Award "celebrates our freedom and independence and recognizes those who have contributed to safety and liberty in the 50th state," the institute said. "We are proud to honor the Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard as it approaches its centennial celebration in 2008."
