"Cane," 7 and 8 p.m., CBS. While other shows run out of episodes, this has two new ones back-to-back. In the first, the estate is hit by a hurricane and by armed looters. In the second, Jaime's wedding needs security guards.
OF NOTE
"Kingdom of Heaven" (2005), 5 p.m., FX; and "Troy" (2004), 6 p.m., AMC. Take your pick of adventure epics, with Orlando Bloom. On FX, he's on the Crusades, directed by Ridley Scott ("Gladiator"); on AMC, he's a prince and Brad Pitt is Achilles, directed by Wolfgang Peterson ("The Perfect Storm").
"Deal or No Deal," 7 p.m., NBC. One contestant, a Broadway buff, is greeted by a 16-piece orchestra and Megan Hilty, who plays Glinda in "Wicked."
"Shrek the Halls" (7 p.m.) and "Winnie the Pooh and Christmas Too" (7:32 p.m.), ABC. These are sweet-spirited, animated reruns. The first has Shrek trying too hard to give his family a big Christmas; the second starts with Pooh failing to deliver letters to Santa.
"Hogfather," 8 p.m., Ion. Concludes Wednesday. Here's a quick rerun of a darkly witty British drama. How dark? It starts with an assassin hired to kill someone a lot like Santa.
"According to Jim," 8 and 8:30 p.m., ABC. These reruns were scheduled for last week, then delayed. In the first, Jim causes a controversy after grumbling about guys being invited to a shower. In the second, he considers an expensive operation for the family pet.
"The Biggest Loser," 8 p.m., NBC. The field is trimmed to four, for next week's finale.
"Law & Order: Special Victims Unit," 9 p.m., NBC. In a rerun, Blair Underwood and Michael Michele play a divorcing couple, fighting brutally.
